As well as jewellery, I also make a range of ‘slip-cast’ vessels – formed using liquid clay which is poured into a mould and then left to dry, before extracting, tidying up and decorating.
These stoneware goblets are transparent glazed to show off their natural oatmealy colour and decorated with clay additions, in the form of ‘Blues & Greens’ glazed plant life and a little butterfly.
The one below is again transparent glazed, but this time it is decorated with an oak leaf pattern, carved into coloured slip.
The final one is decorated with a celtic spiral symbol and glazed in Norwegian Blue.

These techniques can also be used to make vases and bowls.
